Jiangling Motors

In October 2004, the company Jiangling Motors Holding (Jiangling Holding) was jointly created by Changan Motors Co Ltd - first Chinese manufacturer and one of the top 20 in the world - and groups it JMC, one of the first 100 quoted on the stock exchange Chinese companies.

Jiangling represents three main brands : Landwind, JMC and Transit, all of them very famous in China. The product line includes passenger cars, utilities and 4WDs.

The 4WDs exist in three main versions on the Chinese market, including the model launched today in Europe and in France with the 2006 Paris Motor Show.

A few dates :

September 2005 - Launch on the Chinese market of the new 4WD version (X6),

November 2005 - Landwind is elected the best SUV (average range) for the year 2005,

January 2006 - Landwind is elected by the Chinese consumers as the most reliable brand.
